Remote Crime Scene , written & directed by Chris Young, has been shot and is now in post production. So is the 'Making Of' documentary. Hopefully these two projects will be viewable in 2021!
Attached , written & directed by Matthew Thomson. This black comedy charts the unexpected romance that develops between a lonely office worker and a stapler.
Grace & Michael , written & directed by Lubna Kerr. This series of short films tells the story of Michael and Grace as their relationship unfolds.
Matthew Thomson is a lawyer by day and a filmmaker / actor by night. He has performed on stage with various amateur theatre groups across Scotland. Since trying his hand at filmmaking, Matthew has made a number of short films in and around Edinburgh. He has embraced all aspects of filmmaking and can’t wait to get started on his new project “Attachment” with West Lothian Film.
Lubna Kerr is a writer, director, comedian and actress with many works completed and in progress. You may know her from her Fringe comedy show, "Where Are You Really From?"
Chris Young is the director of Raptor Filmz Ltd and founded and ran the Raptor Filmz Short Scottish Film Festival, which later evolved into the Scottish Short Film Festival, with Gina Vereker. He cut his teeth writing and making two feature length films in Japan between 2006 and 2012, called Tough Gig and Ripped (https://youtu.be/vneCrPRXUbM). Since returning to Scotland he has made a few short films including Broken Souls, Flowers and co-wrote, acted and produced many episodes of Raptor Newz with William Samson. At the moment he’s working on a script with his beard.
